Eight steps to the exam
Every page below already exists; what was missing was the order. Work down the list and you reach exam day having already done the whole paper once.
- 1
See what the exam actually is
Four parts, one day, starting at 10.00. Worth knowing what happens before you choose a level.
- 2
Choose your level
B1 is selected. If you are unsure, sit one full mock and read the result part by part.
- 3
Learn the forms
Three base forms and eleven endings. The cheat sheet is one page and can stay open while you write.
- 4
- 5
Work through the question bank
The same B1 material with no clock: read the explanation on every answer, not just the right option.
- 6
Sit the full mock
The whole B1 paper on the clock, in one sitting. Exam day should not be the first time you do it end to end.
- 7
Read the result part by part
One percentage tells you nothing. Find the part that fell short and take it back to step four.
- 8
Register and get ready for the day
Registration closes weeks before the sitting and latecomers are not admitted. Check the dates and put one in the calendar.
